Can Red Stretch Marks Go Away?

To understand if stretch marks can go away, we must first understand what they are and what causes them. Red stretch marks are raised or flat lines often seen on the skin of the abdomen that are bright red or pinkish in color.

They are also referred to as vascular stretch marks. They may appear alarming to most because of the bright color often associated with blood.

Striae Rubrae and Striae Albae are the two types of stretch marks. Stria Rubrae occurs when the formation of a stretch mark is fresh.
